If you want documentaries, don't buy a reading app

Honest guidance: if your history habit is watching, HISTORY Vault and Curiosity Stream are the right tools and reasonably priced. If you want an actual curriculum, Khan Academy is free and excellent. No daily-story app (ours included) replaces either.

Where Untold Archives is the right pick

You want a three-minute daily ritual, not a syllabus. You want the stories textbooks skip: the couriers, clerks, and quiet decisions that turned history, rather than the greatest hits. And you care that it's true: every story is independently before publication and lists the published sources it draws on. That combination of daily, forgotten, verified history is the lane the others don't occupy.
